College (Tertiary) education

It is quite possible to live in Avesta and study at one of the neighbouring universities or colleges. Whilst not on campus, you can study independently at Avesta Learning Centre (Lärcentrum) adjacent to the public library, with computer and Internet access.

Uppsala University and the University Colleges of Gävle, Dalarna (Borlänge/Falun) and Mälardalen (Västerås) are all within easy travelling distance.
